On my way to the Tokyo National Museum, I was walking through Ueno Park and noticed many cute panda and animal drawings on the ground, made with water. “What could this be?” I wondered, so I followed a few of them and saw an old man skillfully drawing with a stick that had a sponge-like tip.

Since it’s water, it dries up really quickly, but he draws cute animals at quite a speed, even faster than they dry! And his drawing method is quite interesting: he draws them upside down. So, at first glance, you might wonder, “What is he even drawing?” On this particular day, he was mainly drawing pandas, but I looked it up and it seems he draws all sorts of animals.
