This is what “experience value” is all about! Tower Eleven Hotel

Other domestic walks

They say “exceed expectations,” but…

In business, we often find ourselves saying, “Let’s provide an experience that exceeds expectations,” but it’s not every day we get to be on the receiving end of one. For a while now, I’d been hearing requests to go see a baseball game, but our favorite teams didn’t quite match up. While that was sitting in the back of my mind, F VILLAGE opened. Since we were making the trip to Hokkaido anyway, I figured we should stay at Tower Eleven Hotel—partly for the fun of it, and partly for a bit of “market research.”

Exciting details at every turn

From the moment we arrived at F VILLAGE and headed toward the hotel entrance, we were guided in a way that felt like entering a restricted “staff only” area. When we got upstairs, the check-in area felt less like a hotel lobby and more like a club reception. Right there at the base of the counter, Yu Darvish’s glove and Shohei Ohtani’s bat were casually on display—pure heaven for any baseball fan.

On the wall behind the reception, there was an autograph from Yoichi Takahashi (the creator of Captain Tsubasa) from just a few days prior. Personally, I was getting more hyped about this!

The hotel hallways were designed to look like a pitcher’s mound. But what really blew me away was when I opened the door to our room. Up until that point, I hadn’t really felt like I was inside the stadium, but suddenly, past the balcony at the far end of the room, the stadium stands were just… *there*.

Each room at Tower Eleven Hotel has a specific concept. The room we stayed in was art-themed, decorated with matching paintings and artwork. I heard some other rooms are themed specifically around Ohtani or Darvish.

An incredible food court

As the players started warming up and the crowd began to trickle in, we headed down to the food court to grab some food to eat back in the room. I was shocked by how great it was. It wasn’t just “ballpark food”; the selection was so good you could honestly visit just for the food alone.

Watching the game from the onsen and sauna

Tower Eleven Hotel has an attached onsen and sauna, and the fact that you can watch the game from there is just amazing. We wanted to relax in our room during the game, so we went for a soak after it ended. I’ve seen this spot on the baseball broadcasts before, but experiencing it in person is something else. For a sport with the pace of baseball, this style of spectating really works.

Excitement and relaxation

For us, the mix of that extraordinary “wow” factor of having a game right outside the window combined with the ability to just lounge, eat, and drink in our own space without worrying about the crowd was the perfect fit.

I didn’t notice it during the night, but by morning, the stadium roof had opened, and they were holding a youth baseball tournament. The energy from those kids early in the morning was a lot of fun to watch.
