Found ANGELINA in Shiodome

I was heading to Shiodome for work. On my way from Shimbashi Station, I suddenly spotted an ANGELINA sign and it really caught my eye. On my way back, I took a different route at first, but eventually re-joined the same path. As I passed by, I saw a few people lining up. Curious, I peeked in and saw some delicious-looking Mont Blanc cakes.

They weren’t the giant size I had in Ginza, but three types of Mont Blanc were lined up so deliciously that I couldn’t resist buying them. I got one of each: the original (a slightly smaller demi-size), Mont Blanc au Chocolat Michel, and Honey Mont Blanc. Since I’m such a Mont Blanc lover, I wanted to eat them all myself, but they were souvenirs for my family.

When I finally had the original again after a long time, the familiar rich and sweet chestnut cream was absolutely divine! Instead of sponge, the base was filled with cream and a crispy meringue. Even with this rich composition, the cream was light and not cloying at all – truly exquisite. Ahh, this is it, pure bliss.

My child also loves Mont Blanc, and apparently the chocolate one was “absolutely phenomenal!” Well, that’s great (lol).
